1. Description of Service

Smart Caller ID is a communication management application that provides features including but not limited to:

• Phone dialer functionality
• Call history management
• Spam call blocking
• SMS/MMS sending and receiving
• Contact management
• In-call interface and call controls

The App may require designation as your device’s default Phone and/or SMS application to function properly.

2. User Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your country) to use this App. By using the App, you confirm that you meet the eligibility requirements.

3. Permissions & Access

To provide core functionality, the App may request access to:

• Contacts
• Phone and call logs
• SMS/MMS messages
• Phone state and telephony data
• Overlay permissions (to display incoming call screens)
• Microphone (for call audio control only)

These permissions are used strictly to enable the App’s communication features and are processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes
• Harass, threaten, or impersonate others
• Use automated systems to misuse messaging or calling features
• Attempt to reverse engineer or modify the App
• Interfere with service security or functionality

You are solely responsible for all communication activities performed through the App.

5. Caller Identification & Spam Detection

Caller identification and spam detection features rely on:

• Public databases
• User-reported information
• Third-party data sources

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of caller information.

Users should independently verify unknown callers.

6. Default Dialer & Messaging Role

If you set the App as your default phone or SMS application:

• The App will handle outgoing and incoming calls
• The App will manage SMS/MMS sending and receiving
• Some system features may be replaced by the App interface

You may revoke default app permissions anytime via device settings.

7. Data Usage & Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect user data.

By using the App, you consent to data practices described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Advertisements & Third-Party Services

The App may display advertisements and integrate third-party services.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if users violate these Terms or misuse the service.

Users may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
